...It's that time of year again to break out your favorite green...winter coat! While one can expect Louisville weather in March to range from snow to summery sun, this year will see the mercury dropping and attendees turning to their flasks for warmth during the annual Ancient Order of Hibernians St. Patrick's Day Parade. With the forecast currently projected at a blustery 30s and snow, be sure to plan ahead to keep warm as you carouse with other Irish-for-a-day folks from the intersection of Baxter and Broadway on up to Mid-City Mall. The parade runs from 3-6pm while bars and restaurants in the area will be having all-day specials. Don't let the weather keep you in - come out and support the great effort of all the folks who make this happen and keep Louisville's Irish heritage alive!

...Come out to the Louisville Water Tower (3005 River Road, Louisville, KY 40207) tonight, March 2nd, or March 14th, from 5-7pm to support Citizens for a Safer River Road.
Whether you're a driver frustrated by narrow shoulders and lack of safe passing options, or a cyclist who wants to enjoy the River Road Scenic Byway without holding up traffic or risking safety, this effort aims to improve the experience for all. Support for this plan is crucial at this time due to the opening of the new East End Bridge and the expected increase in traffic on River Road between the bridge and downtown Louisville. This stretch of road has the potential to be a great asset to our community that can be as enjoyable as it is beautiful!
